Job Description The Director of First Impressions & Events Coordinator is accountable for greeting visitors in a cheerful, courteous and timely manner, determining the nature of business, and directing the visitor to the proper destination. Develops, coordinates, and promotes events and activities for Operations staff; maintains adequate office supplies and provides support for Operations department. Working hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ACCOUNTABILITIES Greets, welcomes and directs visitors to the appropriate TTI Representative by asking relevant questions pertaining to the visit to ensure that the visitor is receiving the highest customer service experience possible. Maintains visitor log according to ITAR requirements. Develops, coordinates, and promotes events and activities for Operations staff such as employee appreciation events, above and beyond recognitions, team building and employee engagement activities. Sorts daily incoming interoffice and postal mail for all employees; organizes outgoing postal mail and interoffice mail for daily pick-up. Coordinates and procures office supplies to ensure an adequate supply is maintained. Provides support for the Operations department by performing a variety of clerical duties such as copying, collating, and faxing. Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy reception area, workstation, and front conference room to ensure visitor’s first impression of TTI is excellent. Provides assistance in maintaining the security of our building by notifying designated staff of security breaches or emergencies. Completes special projects and duties as assigned by Supervisor. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED required; one to three years related experience is preferred. SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize daily work assignments. Deals effectively with multiple / competing priorities and delivers desired results. Effective communicator having excellent verbal and written communication skills. Readily seeks direction and clarification when needed. Works well with others, team player; consistent performer; positive “can do” attitude. Intermediate or better knowledge of MS software: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is preferred. Ability to type 40 words per minute preferred. Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques. Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis. Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to flex daily work schedule according to operational needs. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
