The AVP HRIS primary focus is to oversee GM FinancialA?s Human Resources Information Systems. Responsible for business process improvement, data flow mapping, enterprise resource planning, and project management. This individual serves as the point of contact and assists other subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing, reporting and process improvement opportunities. Identify training needs of end users and assist in the development of training to meet those needs. The AVP HRIS is the primary point of contact between the IT department and the HR business process owners on all system upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned. JOB DUTIES:Serve as primary business lead and point of contact for HRIS, who will collaborate with IT, business process owners, and functional SMEA?s to translate business requirements into concrete, specific projects.Manage all aspects of the planning, testing, implementation, customer reporting and end:user support for all HRIS systems including:Oracle ERPManager Self:ServiceEmployee Self:ServiceTalent ManagementLearning ManagementOracle Advanced BenefitsCompensation WorkbenchKronosPolicy Acknowledgement System (PAS)Plan and develop system wide technology roadmaps for HRIS, ensuring best practices, and logical methodologies to meet the needs of the business.Develop HRIS policies and procedures, ensuring alignment of business rules and controls within all applications.Serve as project manager for system/application implementations and upgrades for the human resources department. This includes maintaining business requirement documentation, as well as, data flow mapping, test plans, and testing documentation.Oversee processes and drive requirements for additional HRIS improvements to eliminate manual processes.Partner with payroll to ensure compliance, data integrity and adherence to process.Oversee ad:hoc reporting as requested. OTHER IMPORTANT DUTIESProvide leadership and guidance to the HRIS team.Ensure all HRIS programs and processes are effectively communicated and understood.Coach, provide feedback and appraise the performance of HRIS team members.Assist the VP of Human Resources with overall budget for the HRIS department. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:Reports to: VP Human ResourcesDirect Reports: 2+ KnowledgeAdvanced knowledge of Oracle ERP applications.With specific knowledge to each module such as: Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), Compensation Workbench, Talent Management, Learning Management, Manager and Employee Self:Service.Advanced knowledge of project management techniques.Advanced knowledge of human resources practices and Human Resources related laws and regulations.Advanced knowledge of HRIS procedures and techniques. ExperienceMinimum 5 years project management experience.Minimum 7 years professional experience in HRIS field and at least 4 years:experience with HRMS models in Oracle ERP applications.BachelorA?s degree in related field (HRIS, Information Technology, Computer Science), or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.Prior management experience preferred. WORK CONDITION:Normal office environment. May work occasional irregular hours, evening or weekends. .
