The Trinity River Authority is seeking a Network Security Engineer at its General Office in Arlington, Texas. The role has the responsibility for providing network and security expertise with leadership and technical escalation in network device management as well as security threat detection / incident response on both the Enterprise and Industrial Control Systems Networks. Exercise supervisory responsibilities for junior security personnel. Scope of responsibility includes the Authority WAN supporting 14 geographically separated sites and 12 independent industrial control systems networks supporting plant operations.
Bachelor degree in cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science, information systems or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of network engineer experience
IT Security: 5 years
WAN transport
Cisco Routers
Cisco Security products (ASA, IPS, IDS, ISE, 802.1X, security routers)
Cisco Switches
SonicWALL Firewalls
NOC, support center, or help desk experience
CCNA RS/Security (Required), CCNP Preferred
Security+ (Required)
Valid Texas Drivers License (Required)
Advanced certifications such as CISSP and PMP preferred
