The Senior Network Engineer position focuses on the area of InmarA cents € (TM) s internal and external networks, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments. This Lead Network Engineer will provide leadership in the design and implementation of complex infrastructure in support of customer need, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data communication systems. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical services and support for WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls.Evaluate, recommend and implement tools and practices to achieve maximum network efficiency.Participate in security audits and champion the resolution and/or mitigation of any issues found with regards to network vulnerabilities.Will provide guidance, mentorship and some oversight to the work of less experienced staff members. REQUIRED SKILLS Bachelor degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, or Information Systems AND/ORMinimum of 8-10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceTechnical proficiency in a wide variety of networking technologies, including hands-on management of Cisco hardware; virtualization technologies such as VMware; remote access solution support; remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notificationsGeneral knowledge of F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, APMGeneral knowledge of firewalls, specific knowledge of Checkpoint and Cisco ASA a plusStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with diverse groups including executives and product owners as well as technical staffDemonstrated leadership, mentoring and training skillsNetworking certifications, such as CCNA, CCDA, and Cisco Certifications are a plus
