Within a defined business area or sub:region, implements quality programs developed by Quality Management Leaders.
Leads process improvements by installing, redesigning, and reengineering systems in operations. Assists, coordinates, and provides information on Quality Improvement process philosophy, methods, and application.
Conducts and leads root cause, corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
Through trend analysis of issues identifies opportunities and takes actions leading to process improvements.
Plays an active role in sustaining the quality management system through internal audits and procedure creation / revision and provides guidance API Q1 requirements.
Works with the internal and external customers/suppliers (e.g. PSLs, SS, Technology, etc.) to develop, implement and monitor these performance improvement or re:engineering efforts.
Ensure processes meet with all regulatory, company and customer requirements
Coordinate and perform proper inspections of new supplier material, returned material, and other receiving inspections as necessary. Make proper disposition on returned materials.
Execute process and manufacturing service quality improvement initiatives
Drive effective process management using statistical analysis and quality tools such as Control Charts, Hypothesis Testing, ANOVA, and Capability Studies
Sustain results through effective measurement, analysis, and improvement of key performance indicators
Assist teams with building processes and systems to drive standardization and cost effective manufacturing operations
Promote culture of continuous improvement and support initiatives to improve service quality and customer satisfaction
Interprets outside standards and works with various process owners to develop processes and /or procedures to meet standards.
Works and assist with special/project teams on QM, QA/QC, process improvement, etc.
An undergraduate degree in science or related field AND 2 years of experience, or 7years of equivalent direct quality experience.
A Quality/Reliability Engineer Certification is preferred.
