Help First American Payment Systems continue to be a leader in the credit card processing industry by acting as the Chargeback Specialist This position will look for ways to minimize loss to First American and our merchants by making sound decisions on chargeback cases governed by Visa Discover and MasterCard rules The Chargeback Specialist will also provide customer service and educate merchants in regards to the dispute process Review and investigate chargeback and retrieval cases on behalf of our customers Review and print daily chargeback reports Send letters to merchants informing them of disputes Research and process chargebacks to issuing banks or posting case to merchanta s account Research and process retrieval requests Develop a chargeback case by requesting the proper documentation and additional information from the merchants Complete forms and provide appropriate documentation to the issuing bank Visa MasterCard and Discover High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Working knowledge of Visa and MasterCard Dispute Regulations preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to handle escalated phone calls Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word Highly organized and detail oriented Must possess a high level of integrity and can be trusted to maintain confidentiality Works well as a member of a team We offer a competitive hourly pay a benefits package that includes affordable medical dental and vision insurance paid vacation and holidays matching K and more
