(NYSE: XPO) Essential Functions: Assist customers utilizing phone, email and other channels of communication Take ownership of customer needs and work internally on behalf of the customer Identify problem cause and take appropriate resolution steps Escalate issues appropriately Accurate data entry regarding all customer interactions Make customer focused decisions using data, processes and creativity Create customer loyalty through excellent customer care Respond to customer inquiries promptly Meet and exceed performance goals Inbound and outbound call handling Prompt, daily attendance at assigned work location Work performed at a desk using the phone, computer and other tools Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High School, GED, or Equivalent Minimum 3 years of customer service experience. Minimum 1 years of transportation industry experience preferred. Ability to work a variety of shifts, Monday through Friday between 6a-6p. Knowledge of and familiarity with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures related to customer care Pleasant and professional telephone etiquette Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform required tasks Ability to identify and help implement continuous improvement opportunities Take-charge attitude: capable of taking on the challenges of providing excellent customer care Flexible, open-minded, and solution-oriented Excellent judgment and decision-making skills Strong computer, keyboard and software knowledge, skills, and abilities (Web expertise, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint (preferred) and Outlook) Familiarity with CRM technology, ie salesforce.com (preferred).
