Primary Function 13;
As a key member of the Sales team, the Telesales Assistant Manager (TAM) serves as a hub of information and program management between all portions of the Sales team and the organization at large. The TAM is a leader in the organization and is expected to act in the best interests of the organization at all times and serve as an example to the other members of the team. He/she has the responsibilities of: (a) serving as the Telesales leader in the absence of the Sales Director; (b) coaching and mentoring team members; (c) assessing team member performance; (d) solving customer service issues; (e) providing feedback to other parts of the organization pursuant to product or process deficiencies; (f) maintaining strong customer communication flow; (g) delivering on individual performance metrics and (h) performing other key tasks as defined by the Telesales Director.
Responsibilities 13;
:Employee Development : Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of training materials to be used for new hire and ongoing sales team training. Audit a selection of inbound customer calls and score the calls against the call checklist. Provide feedback to team members as to areas of strength and opportunity. Work with Telesales Director to develop development action plans for all team members and serve as the point person to work the team member through the plan
:Talent Assessment: Assist the Sales Director in assessing team performance and identifying opportunities for future growth. Participate in the new hire selection process.
:Order Management : Review all orders in queue for accuracy and release orders for production.
:Qualifier Management: Ensure consistent management of the web qualifier process.
:Sales Achievement : Delivering monthly team sales goals. 13;
Qualifications 13;

:Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
:Proficient in basic office computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.); as well as the ability to acquire and maintain knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains processes.

:Must be a good communicator, both oral and written
