Qualifications/Duties:Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant PRN their Laboratory.Hours:? Variable shifts and hours to include nights, weekend, and holidays Minimum Required Education:? High School diploma or equivalent Minimum Required Experience:? Prefer: 6 months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomyRequired License/Certification:? Prefer PBT (ASCP)Job Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):Specimen Collection, Integrity & Waived Testing - maintain competence in performing technical skills to assure that patient samples are collected and handled correctly throughout the entire process to ensure specimen integrity and ensure patient results are reported accurately in a timely mannerQuality Control and Document Control - maintain a high level of quality for waived testing instrumentation and patient requisitions, results and documentsSafety and Regulatory - to maintain knowledge of safety, security and regulatory guidelines, policies and procedures as to ensure quality and protect self, coworker, patient and visitorLaboratory Workflow - maintain department workflow to assure timely resulting under varied testing volumesProfessionalism - maintain a professional atmosphere and behavior that exemplifies living the promiseEntity Information:Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne is a 137-bed, full-service hospital that has served Cleburne and the Johnson County area since 1986.
