How You Will ContributeThe Leasing Professional is a dynamic role that influences the communityA?s first impression with current and future residents. They are essentially a sales representative whose primary duties are to greet all office visitors with kindness and respect. To future residents, the Leasing Professional will present the features and benefits of their community professionally and secure lease agreements from qualified persons. The Leasing Professional is continually service oriented and strives to make current residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community. The Leasing Professional understands that satisfied residents renew their leases.Things You Will Do Provide outstanding customer service to residents and future residentsTake pride in the apartment community; visually inspect and address areas of concern, keep community clean and report service needs to maintenance team membersThink safety first and ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected promptlyMaintain an organized environment even during busy timesAnswer incoming phone calls and handle accordinglyBuild rapport with residents and future residentsMeet with future residents, determine their needs and preferences, present community and specific apartments, communicate features and benefitsFollow:up with future residentsCoordinate move:ins and move:outsComplete lease applications, verification and lease paperworkCompose resident communications when necessaryUpdate online advertisingKnow your market by being abreast of competition and surrounding areaPrepare daily and weekly reportsThink safety first and ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected promptlyCommunicate effectively with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors and team members while presenting a positive, professional imagePerform additional duties as assigned by the Community ManagerThings You NeedHigh School diploma or equivalentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely mannerWilling to work flexible schedule including weekendsKnowledge of Yardi or other industry software preferredA sharp, professional appearanceMust be able to walk the property which includes climbing stairsAble to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, carry supplies and stand for extended periods of time What We Will Provide YouSouth Oxford Management LLC provides a range of insurance options and benefits for our full:time team members.
