Experience working garde manger is preferred. Applicants must showcase quality knife skills and possess an A?eyeA? for plate presentation. Employees should be able to create garnishes for plates and be able to follow recipes when making dressing and other menu items. Employees need to be able to work fast and accurate while maintaining quality for dishes. Employees should be able to properly set up their work station before the beginning of the shift and break down the station at the end of their shift. Experience with a meat slicer will be needed. ** All employees working on the Salad/Pantry station need to exhibit quality knife skills and be able to run various electrical equipment (i.e. robot coupe, blenders, mixers).Applicants with restaurant experience are preferred; upscale steakhouse experience preferred. Cooks must be able to demonstrate proper techniques when handling food. They must understand the proper use of all kitchen equipment and storage of all kitchen materials. Cooks should be able to cool down and bring up to temperature food items.
