The BOKM Branch Manager II is primarily responsible for an assigned branch engaged in originating, processing, and closing coordination for residential mortgage loans; oversees the production/origination of branch office within region, including but not limited to, new market research, office locations, hiring and management issues; also responsible for public relations, program development, market conditions and trends; representing a full range of mortgage financing; generates mortgage and development loans through solicitation of real estate brokers and builders/developers. Responsible for supervising, training, monitoring, and motivating loan officers, processors, loan closing coordinators, and other production personnel; responsible for daily operation of branch including recruitment and development of personnel, expense management, human resources, and scheduling of tasks. Maintains an active call schedule for purposes of educating Realtors/builders regarding the features and benefits of BOk Mortgage financing.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
:Supervises the daily operation of production/operations branch, including support of Loan Originators and supervision of Loan Processors and Loan Closing Coordinators and other production personnel, as required; conducts, performance evaluations and salary reviews; determines work priorities and schedules work assignments, interviews and recommends candidates; evaluates, orients, counsels, and trains subordinate personnel and recommends associated personnel actions.
:Defines annual Branch objectives; develops operating plan, including budgets and manpower requirements, in compliance with senior management decisions; prepares loan production activity reports, expense accounting, rations, fees, and contracts; may also prepare monthly management reports such as account analysis statistics, progress reports, incentive program reports, operating statistics, and budget variance explanations.
:Supports the Regional Manager in the activities of market analysis, product sm development, establishment of performance standards, quality control and compliance, as as required.
:Responsible for recruiting, training and motivating all branch support employees toward the goal of efficient and profitable origination of residential mortgages.Consults with Loan Officers on large and complex loans and advises on matters involving real estate, deeds, titles and related items.
:Monitors and controls monthly income and expenses toward the goal of assisting the Regional Manager in meeting volume/income projections of executive management, as well as meeting expense control expectations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
:Advanced knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations (FHA, VA Conventional, FHLMC, FNMA and private investor)
:Advanced knowledge of secondary marketing, insuring, and post closing
:Advanced knowledge of various state lending laws
:Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skill, sales and customer relations skillsThis level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of management experience in mortgage banking or equivalent work experience of (11+ years).
