Job Description:/h3:
We have a new direct hire job opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative in Fort Worth, TX. The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Regional Inside Sales Manager and is needed to work in a team environment with the outside sales team to assist customers with both existing and new sales as well as to help create new opportunities. The Inside Sales Representative will be handling inbound and outbound calls, providing customer service, placing new business calls, and supporting the sales team. They will also receive the commission from the gross margin numbers each quarter. Essential job functions for this position are listed below. Other duties may also be assigned.

: Answer customer questions, take and enter orders, calculate and prepare quotes
: Solve customer problems in a timely manner including following up on back orders, checking with vendors on open orders, resolving price discrepancies, providing proof of deliveries on shipments, assist with material returns and credits, etc.
: Monitor customer purchase patterns
: Participate in ongoing campaigns to increase sales and customer base; ie: lead generation, following up on leads, working on strategic accounts, etc.
: Work with outside sales team member in setting territory goals and in creating additional value for our customers
: Investigate and research products and negotiate the best pricing for customers
: Provide MSDS and product literature to customers upon request.
: Establish and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and fellow employees
: Miscellaneous other related duties

Requirements:
: Strong marketing background
: Minimum experience of three (3) years in Customer Service or Inside Sales in a distribution environment
: Good oral and written communication skills
: Microsoft Office Suite experience
: College degree preferred but not required
: Experience with Prophet 21 software a plus
: Telephone Etiquette
Monday : Friday, 8:00 am : 5:00 pm
